aoty consults Becken Real Estate

aoty developed an indivualized user concept for Becken Real Estate, which focus first and foremost laid on the user-friendly adaptation of bike parking spaces in the scope of implementing an innovative mobility concept. The residential and office building of 38,000 m2 in close proximity to Frankfurt’s shopping center “Zeil” is now equipped with an open mobility offering.

Additionally, the concept is also intended to feature a mobility hub. This area hosts a bycyle repair shop as well as an infomation terminal to answer questions on mobility. Car and bike-sharing are also a fixed part of the solution. In the future new technological developments, such as autonomous driving, call&ride,… will also be internalized.

The integration of an individualized mobiliy card, which includes all offerings, gives an overview, hence eases up planning and usage.
For the mobility offering to be successful, it has to not only be available to the tenants but also to neighbors and other interested residents of Frankfurt as well. An option to extend the concept to traffic-calm the surrounding Stiftstraße also exists. This increases the sustainability and reduces the amount of bikes, randomly parked in public.

The project has successfully been sold to Rock Capital and is now known under the name High Lines.
