Offering No Room for Hate and Discrimination
PREVENTION
OF EXTREMISM.
NO PLACE FOR INTOLERANCE.
Together Against Extremism
To ensure that young people grow up free from hate and extremist thoughts, it is crucial to secure their participation in societal life. We support young individuals individually through our School Assistance Program, providing supportive and reliable counseling in terms of academic development.
The goal is to reduce learning deficits in both academic and social areas, along with associated problematic behavior. At the same time, students should learn how to deal with mental issues, advocate for their personal interests, and develop the will for independent learning.
The School Assistance Program serves as a mediator between teachers and students—enabling and ensuring successful participation in school life despite emotional injuries. The program offers various support options, including assistance in learning processes, promoting independence in academic daily life.
Boosting self-esteem, enhancing social skills, providing assistance in dealing with moments of frustration and self-regulation, and individual support through the guidance of a mentor in the school environment.
School assistants receive regular training to enhance their skills. In addition, a professionally designed guide serves as support in their daily work, and continuous team meetings are conducted.
Prevention of extremism
United against religious extremism – assisting those at risk of radicalization.
If you manage accommodations for refugees or migrants, we are happy to support you in recognizing and countering tendencies of radicalization. Our seminar offerings are also open to professionals not working in residential facilities. Our services are always provided free of charge.
What is it about?
Our target audience includes employees in refugee accommodations and their residents. We advise and train staff in communal housing on topics such as “Radicalization Prevention” and “Religiously motivated extremism.” The overarching goal is always to strengthen the understanding of democracy and promote a peaceful and equitable coexistence of all people.
We support communal housing facilities in gaining more confidence in handling residents’ tendencies against democracy. In joint seminars for staff, we teach approaches to potential dynamics of radicalization and conflict situations, as well as active advocacy for democracy and against extremism.
To counteract tendencies of radicalization, we empower residents in workshops to navigate effectively in democratic society, discover positive experiences, and explore participatory approaches.
Within this framework, we challenge participants to align their own values and life perspectives with living in a democratic society.
Among other things, we support participants in developing a fundamental understanding of democracy and resisting the influence of democracy-hostile individuals and groups within the religiously motivated extremist spectrum.
