Within the scope of the grant proposal „Förderrichtlinie Ladeinfrastruktur für Elektrofahrzeuge in Deutschland des BMVI vom 13.02.2017“ (Engl. “Funding Directive Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles in Germany of BMVI of 13.02.2017”) aoty® has applied for subsidies for 400 electric cars and plug-in hybrids, as well as for 100 electric cars in the transport sector, specifically targeting leasing customers. The total value of the eligible items amounted to nearly 10 million euros. Of the 10 million euros, 4 million euros will be paid out by the federal government.

The federal government’s aim in providing this grant is to demonstrate the practicality of green electric mobility in company car fleets in Germany. The funding will enable companies – SMEs and corporate groups – to gain initial experience with electric vehicles (Battery Electric Vehicles & Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles) in everyday operation, and to develop confidence with innovative driving concepts.
