4,500 electric cars and plug-in hybrids, more than 4,000 charging stations, over 70 million euros in eligible expenditures, 30 million euros in funding requests and over 14 million euros in additional potential environmental bonus.
This is aoty’s® overall assessment of the Federal Ministry of Transport’s call for funding, which ended in mid-May. aoty® has once again taken over the entire promotion management for various customers – including two leasing companies. The services extend from the identification process to the application process, including constant communication with the project-executing agency and ongoing client support.
The aim of the funding programme “Förderrichtlinie Ladeinfrastruktur für Elektrofahrzeuge in Deutschland des BMVI vom 13.02.2017” (“Funding Directive for Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles in Germany of the BMVI on 13/02/2017”) is to establish green electric mobility in company car fleets in Germany. The project is intended to provide examples of best practice and create a strong impetus to electromobility for leasing in the fleet sector. The results provide information on how electromobility can contribute to creating decarbonised energy and mobility systems in Germany.
Every leasing customer benefits from the funding. Cost-effective leasing conditions and greatly reduced purchase prices for charging infrastructure – from wall boxes to high-power chargers – are intended to motivate commercial customers to switch to electric mobility. This can contribute to the goal of establishing low-emission traffic on German roads.
