The German National Sustainability Award is Europe\u2019s most prestigious award for ecological, social and humanitarian commitment. It recognises people that successfully take on the challenges of the future. On December 6 and 7, the 10th National German Sustainability Award will take place in D\u00fcsseldorf. aoty\u00ae will be present, along with many celebrities, politicians, chief executives and other prominent figures.<\/p>\n

Under the patronage of Federal President Steinmeier, organizations and individuals will be recognized for their extraordinary commitment to sustainability. Since 2008, the Honorary Award has been presented to 37 individuals who put their public persona to good use.<\/p>\n

This year, the focus is on the tension between the fields of ethics and sustainability, as well as water as a resource, climate protection, municipal sustainability topics, etc. The contributions are as versatile as the nominees, coming from the fields of business, research, architecture, civil society and politics. Yesterday, the Next Economy Award<\/a> honoured laureates in the categories Change<\/em>, Digitality<\/em>, People<\/em> and Technology<\/em>.<\/p>\n
